The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official curriculum for the academic year 2026-27 for Class IX (Secondary Stage – Phase I). This syllabus is fully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE 2023).
Key highlights of the new syllabus:

1. CBSE Class 9 Mathematics Syllabus 2026-27 (Code: 041/241)
Rationale (NCF-SE 2023): Mathematics develops logical reasoning, problem-solving, visualisation, mathematical modelling, and computational thinking. It connects to real-life, science, technology, and Indian knowledge traditions.
Unit 1: Number System (≈12 periods)

Course Structure: Organised into themes (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) with interdisciplinary connections.
